I am new the HR field. The problem that I face is that in our organization there is two department of HR they did not cooperate which each other they do their separate work.
Our organization make new HR department because they realize that the old HR department doesn’t contribute in development of organization. My problem is that I join as an HR Executive to the new HR Department I Try to cope up with the guys but they don’t take me seriously tell me how I am perform my duties under such circumstances.
I got a support of my HOD but he is also new to the organization. Organization hired him because they realize that there is no development of the human resources. Send me your suggestion

hi, i think mgt should restructure total HR dept. Every specific wing of HR do their aligned job, hence will act like a team. You alone can't change the whole. Just cope up and learn.

I think the department lack in communication. So you need to break this barriers. As you are new to the organization it will take some time to settle down and don't rush to change the things observe each team member carefully how they are communicating.
Its better to inform management if things are not going down after some time.

Its all very obviously for the guys to not take you seriously, as there are so many reasons for it.
For now, i would suggest that you take it slow, try to get along with them, and very importantly dont forget to put your HR extertise on the display, coz that is the only way you can prove yourself to those guys as well as to your managment.
And dont forget that the only reason your organization has had a new wing for HR is to bring in some real value to the organization and you happened to be a part of it. So all that matters is quality work. Dont worry on whose taking you seriously and whose not. All that matters is the outcome.
So you go boy !!!!!!!

I think as others say you have to keep observing for whats happening around and then take necessary steps to make them understand your views, If it does not happen with them after a period of time , better to sack them out and create anew HR Team.
You keep working towards your organisational goal, and rest the company and the Key persons will take care.
