Hi Vivek
According to me I feel doing MBA in IGNOU is not advisable, Those people will not let u complete the course. The evaluation is very tough. A person like u working for 6 days is very difficult to complete it. Instead of IGNOU you can try ANNA University or Bharathidasan university. They r very much reputed universities and also u can complete your course... Anyway decision is yours.

Dear Vivek,
If at all I am concerned there is value of IIM, OXFORD, XLRI and many other top business schools but still for distance learning I found IGNOU best, there course material really work at your workplace, you can refer there question papers for the same and compare it from other institutes, I also did my MBA in HR from IGNOU in 2007, while working for 6 days in a week, and you must note that students who have zeal to achieve there goals can set any targets for them.
See decision is yours first choose your preference regular or correspondance if correspondance then go for IGNOU or Symbosis. Choice is yours dear.
With best regards,
Deepak Bhandari

Its one of the best options for the working executives to pursue their education in management. u need to write an openmat entranceexam, which u cud prepare in a months time. For this u can purcahse any MBA entrance exam books. Its a 3 yr program; 2 semesters every year called as term end examinations. U have 21 subjects ( actually 19 and 2 scores for the project which is usually done at the 3 yr start.

On completing the 1st yr succesfuly u wil be awarded DIM, and after your specilisation in 2nd yr - u'll be awarded PGDFM(EG: Financial Management) and at the end of 3rd yr UR MBA degree is awarded.

The course materials are very handy and easy too. Weekly classes are also conducted.

Comparing to others, IGNOU is fine.

I am pursuing MBA from IGNOU in HR stream and I have found that MBA from IGNOU is more valid than any other university degree. The subjects are more practical and useful in day to day applications. But at the same time they are quite tough too. It requires good preparation.
If you are looking only for degree than you can even pursue from Symbiosis.
Its your choice.

Dear Friend,
In my opinion doing M.B.A. from IGNOU could be the best option. the study material provided by it is upto mark. As per M.B.A. degree is concerned, university brand is helpful by the time of your initial placement. If you are a working professional, the knowledge capital achieved by you will only be helpful, irrespective of which open university you have opted. any way have information to get admission, now choice is yours.

Have a very nice day.

Hi Everybody,
I am planning on joining IGNOU MBA. I work in Doha but wish to pursue the MBA course from a IGNOU center in India. I can come down every 6 months to write the exams. However, I was told that I may have problem regarding the project work in the 3rd year. Can some one please clarify regarding the projects? Is my presence in India necessary during the project period or can I do it in Doha and come down to India for submission and other formalities?
Thanks in anticipation..
