Dear All, Could you please help me out with the questions that should be asked for background verification of the employees who have newly joined the organization..

Hi Manasi,

For background verification of the employees who have newly joined the organization. Please find below few points -

• Service Certificates of your previous jobs.

• Birth Certificate / School Leaving Certificate showing date of birth

• Educational Qualification Certificates

• Relieving letter and Experience Certificate from your present/last employer.

• Last drawn Salary Slip / Certificate showing monthly salary and Annual benefits, from the present employer.

by Relieving letter and Experience Certificate from your last employer, you can do background verification of the employees. you can drop email to his last employer for Example- Please find attached

Dear Sir / Madam,

Kindly verify the employment details of Mr/Ms employees who was part of your esteemed organization Name

Provided Information Verified Information

Employee code

Period of employment

Designation and Department

Salary

Name of the Supervisor

Reason for leaving

Any integrity issues

Additional remarks (if any)

Name and Designation of the verifier

Megha, this info was very useful.
Would appreciate if you please let me know if the person has left the organisation given different reason and tell recruiter of new company the other reason so will it make a difference in getting a job while doing ref check at managerial level or middle mgmt level.

Hello Chirag,
Please find below details -
1. If the Person, given different reason by Verbal communication -
In this case, we can warn him verbally. say to him e, your services may be liable for termination without any notice.
2. If the person, given document of salary slip & letters
In this case, we can fired(terminate) him immediately.
