I request all friends to explain in detail the calculation of Bonus. Entitlement and if there is any formula for the same

In section2 of the payment of Bonus Act, 1965 (hereinafer referred to as the amendment of principal Act), in clause (13) for the words "three thousand and finve hundred rupees" the section2 words ten thousand rupees shall be substituted.
bonus calculate 8.33% of the basic salary, bonus limit 10000.00, mex. 3500.00

As per the Shops & Establishment Act any employee who has put in atleast 3months of service in any year is eligible for a proportionate bonus @8.33%. Baisic, DA & CCA are taken into consideration for calculating bonus after adjusting LOP's if any.

Gratuity is payable to an employee on completion of 5years of continous service. The basis of calculation is
Last drawn wages(Basic+DA) *15/26 * number of years of service
After completing 5years of continous service if a employee puts 6months or more service in a year should be taken as 1 completed year if he/she is leaving in that year.

I am Nagendra Kumar MBA (HR) and Chinese Translator. Recently retired from defence looking for HR & ADMIN jobs. Since i am specialised in Marine Communications I have an opportunity to join as Radio Officer in one of the marine support services company which offering less pay than I got in defence. even it is not permanant job. As per revised (amendment) in Bonus Actin the year 2007
Bonus is calculated on on Rs 3500 (earlier limit was Rs 2500)
Note:it depends on No. of working days of an employee.
suppose an employee work for 30 then bonus is calculated as follows
=3500*26/30 = 30.33 for 1 month (in this way u can calculate his bonus for each month based on working days of an employee)
Note - 26 days is working days in a month by excluding sundays
