Could you elaborate on which industry production you are looking for. The common for every idustries is production planning control (PPC). the proper PPC is most essential element of Production. Once your production is started , based on you sample production and Process control sheet , you need to identify the problems which may occur during production a different operation / stages. To map & eliminate those problems we used different type of tools & techniques. Popularly known as 7 QC tools.
If more specific detail you need. then give some brief of Product & production unit .

In fact production planning and control is very vast topic and depends on many factors like type of production, manufacturing process used etc. There are several factors affecting the choice of manufacturing process like effect of volume/variety, capacity of the plant, lead time, flexibility and efficiency. Hence it is very important to consider all factors before taking a decision regarding the type of manufacturing process to be adopted.
After taking the decision regarding the product design and production processes and system, the next task is to take steps for production planning and control, as this function is essentially required for efficient and economical production. Planning and control involve generally the organization and planning of manufacturing process. Especially it consists of the planning of routing, scheduling, dispatching inspection, and coordination, control of materials, methods, machines, tools and operating times. The ultimate objective is the organization of the supply and movement of materials and labour, machines utilization and related activities, in order to bring about the desired manufacturing results in terms of quality, quantity, time and place.
Production planning without production control has no meaning at all because both are complement to each other. Planning initiates action while control is an adjusting process providing corrective measures for planned development. Production control regulates and stimulates the orderly how of materials in the manufacturing process from the beginning to the end.

Hai Nila How are you? I want to know the type of the production., Actually Iam in garment factory Facatory Manager. I want to explain to how to plan for the production plan. 1.Order Sheet. 2.Plan to get the yarn. 3.Plan process. 4. Organise the vendors. 5.In house the meterial. This is the sourcing. Once the sourcing is completed then you move to prodction planning. For the production you need a best team work members. Like. 1.Prodcution Manager.( He is the responsible for the entire production and planning.) 2.Line supervisers. ( He is the responsible for the product of the goods) 3.Quality Controler. ( He is the responsible the product quality) 4.Finishing Incharge ( He is the responsible for the packing and presentation of the goods) So accordingly like this if you plan to organise a team and arranged every thing perfectly you can achive any type of product sillbe succeed by you.
