Fellow CiteOps,
Recently had a question regarding reporting of finacials as a part of a Six Sigma project execution tollgate review. It got me to thinking and wondering just how many SS courses offer such info. TreQna University includes 7 such courses in our training offers.
It is our belief that new business leaders and managers, ideally, should develop at least the basic skills of financial management and financial controls to assist their success of providing improvement solutions that lend to the organizations desired business results.
Perhaps this brief module will assist you in understanding basic practices in financial management, and the building of basic systems and practices needed to build and maintain a healthy business.
If nothing more, it shouild serve to make you soundly aware of why it is a good practice to include your "financial expert" as a part of your SS team.
After all it is the financial experts who have these skills sets and knowledges well in hand. They can steer the project manager and team away from reporting "funny money" as a part of their project goals and execution results.
Hope you find this presentation of value add and meaning. Click on the link to download your (.pdf) copy of this material.
Blessings to all,
