Try this method, then you will be more confident.
Think about the point that you want to make that will be your opener.
For example - "Traffic" you can stress out this word loud.
Then you can other thoughts to it, don't be in a hurry to speak, take your time , slow down have pauses and speak.
Try it out with simple sentences. Then go ahead and enjoy the conversation. Listen to the other person have your own opinion. Learn new words from Dictionary.com
