PF Contribution

Dear Sir,
We have registered under PF last month. My managers are drawing sum of Rs.15000/-per month . My question is that, Whether they are eligible under PF. Their basic is more than Rs.6500/-. Is it complusory to deduct PF amount from them . if they are not willing to contribute towards PF.
Consultants suggest us that if employees drawing more than Rs. 6500 as basic and DA they need not contribute PF if they are not willing to pay.
Kindly give us suggestions with section no.

If your company has 20 or more employees, then PF contribution is mandatory. Also if your company is registered in EPFO then it is mandatory for all employee, including part time employee.

Dear Jayanthijb Regarding Basic and DA of above 6500,it is not mandatory for employer to deduct the pf. if the employees willing to contribute you can deduct the pf. Thanks Venkat
