In these times of recession, it is important to have a training programme that helps the clients to reduce the costs directly.
For the benefits of the clients, recently I had conducted a Public Workshop in Mumbai on "Effective Purchase Management
". The participants' profile was suitable to the title of the training programme i.e. most of them were from Purchase department. At the end of the session, all the 39 participants returned with complete confidence to reduce the size of their inventory anything from Rs 1 Lakh to 1 crore in the coming year
(depending on the nature of their business). Today, how to free up working capital is a major challenge. Against this backdrop the training programme was overwhelmingly successful.
We have discussed about conducting the soft skill or behavioural training programmes. Without underestimating their importance, in these times of recession, it is important to conduct management training that builds a skills to reduce the operational expenditure.
You may ask your clients for this kind of training programme and I will design it exclusively for them (but not Purchase Management as I have tied with up with some training company to that training programme forever). If you are from company, you may talk to your superiors for replicating similar experience.
