You have opted a very good topic at the most wanted time. Most efffective way to control attrition is to motivate employees to give the maximum of their productivity with the most cost effective way.
Employees can be invited themselves to give their suggestions of cost cutting measures and they should be prepared by HR to get them implemented.

nice suggestion by u , what don't u think ! dat there should be sum ethical training sessions for employees so that they won't leave d organization for the sake of sum more lucrative perks given by competitors
