Hi,

Myself shweta and I am new to this site.
I have a serious problem would request you all to pls suggest me on the forward path.

I was working with Retail Company as an Asst Manager Admin /HR Services. After 2 yrs I left that company for a better future perspective & joined a MNC. Here in my new organization I need to submit my Relieving & experience certificate but the my previous organization id not giving me that…whenever I approach my HOD he say just give some more time and even says to withdrawn the resignation, even on my farewell they all were keen for me to come back including the HR HEAD …I just can’t understand why he is doing this to me…I have maintained a good relations with my previous organization and also healthy relations with my team and boss as well. He has waived off my notice pay & also putting his efforts for F & F settlement of mine…but as a human he is very lazy and at time he simply forgets the priorities of his work schedule but here (new ORGANIZATION) I am unable to hold these people, as they do want that.:confused::confused:

Plz help me out with this & suggest me some ways to get this done from him…I am actually in a dilemma that is he doing this deliberately or not. Plz help me out…….

Thanks
Shweta

I think the guy is taking you for granted and you are just being his ex-subordinate...He is encashinbg on your siftness and the end result is that you are suffering...You need to talk to him as a professional and get things done. You have to make it clear that you are no longer an employee and that he has got a responsibility to execute. So talk straight and talkt tough.
Secondly talk to your HR guys (new co) and explain and get their help in talking to the previous boss.
All the best Take Care

Thanks Sandeep......
I approached him in a very professional manner and he said he would get it done. I clearly told him that i want iti right now as it is already been 1 1/2 months.....otherwise I might approach to HR head.
He immediately ordered hr executive to do the needful.
Thanks once again....In a way I was just giving him respect...but, you was right
