I think the guy is taking you for granted and you are just being his ex-subordinate...He is encashinbg on your siftness and the end result is that you are suffering...You need to talk to him as a professional and get things done. You have to make it clear that you are no longer an employee and that he has got a responsibility to execute. So talk straight and talkt tough.
Secondly talk to your HR guys (new co) and explain and get their help in talking to the previous boss.

I approached him in a very professional manner and he said he would get it done. I clearly told him that i want iti right now as it is already been 1 1/2 months.....otherwise I might approach to HR head.
He immediately ordered hr executive to do the needful.
Thanks once again....In a way I was just giving him respect...but, you was right
