Good that you have taken HR as a career, since you have a background of hotel industry you can get into hotel HR. But anyways experience counts in these field, no matter where you start in consultancy or mnc. Gain experience and i hope you would have a bright career. Good Luck

Dear pooja
first of all just set your field whether you wana to Move for Hospital industry ar similar industry{ hotels, resturant,FMcg} as you have experience of the same field so you can eligible for this
Start with same to know what are the HR policies,as you now in Front office
so i think you are not aware about the staffing, recruitment ,time cost policies
be aware yourself to this thing
which you read in your MBA
try to involve your self in this thing with same industry where u r working right now
best of luck for your feature
Thanx

hi pooja initially u better try n join in a small firm rather opting for a big one as u r fresher in that field ,joining a small firm like consultancy or any thing will let u know how the process goes and u 'll get the awareness .when u r aware of the things then u could shift u r self to a big one :):)

i think u better join in a small firm for 6 months to 1 year that will give you gud experience then shifting to an MNC will help to face any challenges

Hi,
Pooja
If u have done anything in HR then its better to join a BPO for atleast six months then internally through an IJP u can apply for an HR position, even i have a MBA friend she joined GVI which is a BPO as an associate and later she been the HR of the same BPO through an IJP.
My name is sheetal, working as an HR executive in a BPO consultant firm, if u will find my suggetion good then u can get back to me on my e-mail id

hi pooja i am bussy yesterday thats why i left with a short note. keep one thing in ur mind hr activities r one and the same with irrespective of any industry. The very first thing u have to do is that u have to score at least 60% agrigate so concentrte in ur stadies nd score well. after completion of first year u can join at any were as a Trainy-HR Assistant. un less u wont get ur 1st year results dont try for a hr job. this is my advice,as per my knowledge. All the best for ur bright feature. if u had any douts u can mail ma at . good luck.
