Dear Sir, Just I want to know is it required to renew the Contract Labour Registration or amend the same every year? Have any from for renewal or amendment?
We want to add two contractor and delete three contractor from regi. Certificate. Now what to do?

The application for renewal of RC in form No.I is to be sent to Labobour Commissioner every year in Oct for next year you can add / remove through this form but you have to put the names of every contractor who is to be engaged for next/comming year. You have missed it, do not worry you can rush to fill the form no. I immedietly.

Yes we have renew the Labour license as per the govt law or else u might have to pay the Penalty. Its manded to renew. Regards, Rajesh

Yes, we have to renew the Contract Labour Registration every year through Form No.1 (as per contract Labour Act) and also if add or delete
any contractor we again submit to the authorities for amendment through Form 01 (in Quardruplicate).

First of all you are emplyeeing the manpower directly or you have engaged some contracters for some work.

Registration of Establishment under Contract Labour Act is essential. We require to pay fee basing on the number of persons employed on contract. It does not warrant renewal every year. We only need to quote reference code allotted to such registration certificate whenever there is a change in the particular furnished. Such change needs to be informed to Labour Authority.
However, Contractor is required to obtain Licence by paying required fee and it needs to be renewed every year.

Hi, this is the reply for registration, renewal or amendment of registration -
Pl note that, Form 1 will be filed at the first instance by the Principal Employer to get registered under the Contract Labor Act, 1971. It need not be renewed every year by the Principal Employer. Once registered, it is for ever, unless you wish to add or remove any contractor. If you wish to add or remove any contractor from the Register of Contractors, then you have to send the Form 1 duly filled and signed by you as a Principal Employer and amendment fee to be paid to the appropriate authority. Asst Commissioner of labor and Dy.Commissioner of labor are the bottom level officers for registration depending on strength of labor engaged by each contractor.

But, Contractor's license is to be renewed every year with prescribed fee. Any change in employee/labor to be informed. If contract work with Principal Employer completed, such information to be sent to the authority.
