Hi Can someone help me on the PF amendments for the international workers. As such there is no clarity given bu y the PF department itself. I guess this should be the same scenario with everyone.
Following are my querries.
I. What should be treated as the base salary for PF calculation and what is the %
2. Expat who has social security contributions in the how country - Should he be covered or not?
3. If retirement benefits are provided by the deputed country should he be covered under this act?

Hi
Hi,
For the same topic I have more thoughts & quaries:
Question 1: What if a foreigner (International worker) working in India dont want to go with the PF ? Is it mandatory for International workers for going ahead with PF?
Question 2: For those people who are getting Rs 6500/- or more of basic salary. Going to PF is not mandatory. Right ? Then any International worker by default doesnt have to mandatorily file PF.
Question 3: Inspite of this if PF dept says that any IW has to mandatorily file the PF, how to file the PF which was not done from past 3 months (Starting from 1st Oct 2008).
Can anyone help on this ?
