The corporate offices will be normally in the nature of 'commercial establishments' in which case the Shops and Establishments Act will be applicable. This is an state specific Act and hence, the provisions will differ from one state to another.
Secondly, for the establishments covered under the Shops and Establishments Act, other allied legislations, like Minimum Wages Act, Payment of Bonus Act, etc. will be applicable. Applicability of these legislations depends upon the location, the no. of employees, the nature of industry, etc. in the establishment.
Further, certain legislations contemplate branches but some legislations do not.
