Hi one and all
I am a soft skills Trainer. After 24 years of Corporte life I have moved on to Training to satisfy my passion to serve.
It is a fact that apart from skills for training, one need to have hardcore experience for corporate based training.
I find that, while there is an enormous requirement for soft skills amongst our youth as recognised by the employers and education institutions, there is a very wide gap between getting real training by the students on the one hand and people who can sincerely train on the other hand. Who will take the lead to fill this gap?
The Education Institutes themselves do very little for various reaons, could be financial or lack of understanding. For eg. most of the Institutes/Colleges rely on their English dept to supplement soft skills which is a far cry from the actual requirement. Who is to bell the cat?
Even if some of the Colleges do wish to impart soft skills, they allot one period of 50 minutes in a week since they are busy imparting knowledge on hard skills. They may have their hands tied. Where does this lead to? What is the solution for our youth?:icon5:
Any chance of fellow Soft Skill trainers forming a non profit association to create awareness of the above. Any takers?
