I would say that the signature on the pay slip is not much essential but it is required to put note as : This payslip is generated electronically hence need no signature. Anyhow, the company logo & address is a must on pay slip.

1.They ask you for performance!!Who they?
2.Less frontline staff in stores; poor performance!! No requirements from Operations!!Why?

I'm not very clear on the above two points.

As far as my understanding goes it should be operations who are most affected by lack of manpower.

Have you spoken to your Operations Head why they are not asking for more manpower despite poor performance?
How do you know that you lack manpower? Have you done any load analysis?

I'd like to know these details before discussing further.
