I would like to know more about notice period salary, if someone employment terminated by employer upon completion of 15 months and given 4 weeks notice period, will he entitle to get 30 days full paid of working in notice period. More over, can employee needs to go to office and work full time during notice period (I mean Going to work during notice period/Do I have a right to time off to look for a new job) or can spare time for hunting another job. In fact, attending office regularly during notice period is not initialized in the Contract. In this regard, someone who knows more about the above terms kindly share their views.

serving of notice period depends upon term of your contract.if someone not attending office than what is the purpose of notice.however in this condition as employer has terminated your services than you can take off and search job.whatever days you will present salary will be paid of those days only.
