| Organization Development (OD) Organization Development (OD) Training/developing a few individuals for certain specific tasks, management initiatives or technology is quite different from preparing the entire organization to introduce a new initiative or intervention in the entire organization; those initiatives can be in management systems, discipline, safety, technology or any other. These interventions or initiatives should be communicated to the entire organization or major departments of the organization very effectively by using many methods. At least a critical mass of employees needs to be exposed and trained. Such development of employees in large numbers is called organization development.
