Performance Appraisal
dear Alok, You can use Weightage system for Appraisal where out of hundred you can give each Goal/objective some marks,like for HR REcruitment 10 Marks Legal filing 10 Marks & so on. Based on this you can give marks i.e if they score 33-50% then Average. if less then 33% then need to improve . if more then 50-75 Good/ exceed Expectation &75 & more then Very good/Excellent. This is the commonest type of System. For any other query do feel to ask.

Hi Alok,
U can make list of Job resposibilities according to resposibilities decided marks it like recruitment-4, Training-5, Wage & salary-4, so on out of the decided ur marks, that is ur score then make avrage, 33-50% according ur marks avrge u decided whather it is lVery good/Excellent, good ,average, better, if it is better or avrage need training.

Hi Alok,

The calculation of performance appraisal also depends upon the type of Performance Appraisal System opted for (90 degrees to 360 degrees). Its better to consider this factor also during the final calculation.

boss .......... go to google ........... punch these key words ......... you will get hundreds of sites offering detail info on performance evaluation ..... and remember..... there is no bench marking for evaluating performance .... this differs from company to company & time of job to job ... good day ....

Obviously, for PA, every Company will have its own environment, priorities, culture, values, yardsticks ........ !!! Even then, I am forwarding herewith a PA form, which I hope should help you to start the process.

Hi Alok,

This is very simple calculation. You devide your task in two ways of equal weightage i.e. 50 % each as follows.
1- Your real work for which the organisation has hired you
2- Act of pleasing at your surrounding and specially of your immediate BOSS.

And work like this you scored 80% in each than you are successful and will be rewarded.
And / or otherwise if you will try to score 100% in work and neglect the other part of your work than you could achieve max 50 marks than you may decide your fate.
Hope it is clear and very easy calculation.
