The beauty of "matrix organisation" is that there is no direct reportee to the PM's. Those working on the project report to the "functional head" and many times the PM has got NO control over resource allocation for the project, NO significant influence on the performance assessment of those working on the project etc etc.
Is this TRUE to you in Your role as PM.
