Listening skill is necessary to improve communication, interpersonal relations, emotional intelligence, transaction analysis and team work. The listening skill does not happen to people automatically. One has to have knowledge of various types of listening. Mainly there are 7 types of listening. Empathic listening is of higher level in terms of proficiency.
