I want to know if a person is joining on october 1, 2008 is he entitle for Earn Leave / Annual Leave with wages in the calender year 2009 as he has not compleated minimum 240 days as per the Act.
One who completed 240 days then only he entitle to get all those benefits. But Festivel holidays, Casual leaves can avail even in first 20 days completed his service.
Earned Leave can avail after probation or 240 days working days complete (within this period he can't avail). It's only for his/her security purpose save today for tomorrow or it's a preventive measure in his/her future illness or to avoid loss of pay during continuous absence in future.
