I am starting a comapny(Security/lHouse keeping/Labour contract) First time,i registered a company in labour Dept. then i need to register in ESI/PF also before getting any contract, i asked some one they told us it's 30000.00 to 40000.00 will be the charges.
How many employess is required to do ESI/PF
Please help me in this & waiting for replay from all.

There shuld be at least 20 employees for ESI coverage and for provident fund any numbers are ok.and as for as contract labour license is concerned you shuld deploy 20 workers at one work station. The registration fee is based on the locality where in your business is placed,based on your locality the total expances should be caliculated.Pls contact for Karnataka registration at below numbers.
As a labour contractor doing security and housekeeping the rules are applied sliglhty differently from what my friends have stated in reply. You would be working as a contractor to your clients and so if your client is covered under ESI and EPF you would also be liable to pay ESI & EPF for your employees so deputed to that client. The figiures of 20 employees minimum required is for obtaining your own independant code numbers under ESI & EPF. But then for you to obtain independant numbers you have several other requirements to fulfill. like for example you should have more than one contract, You should have more than 20 employees, You should be ready to deposit in advance contributions for ESI, and so on. Kindly note that these requirements change from region to region ( that is from one city to another) based on the authorities there.
So a call has to be taken by you after visiting the office and getting the gyan of the local practices so that you can suit it and achieve your needs.

Regarding Pf u have to go to IT deptt. AND u will get the forms etc which have to be fullfilled and submitted. You will get the PF no. within 7 days.
Next you have to look for the ESI agent who will get your work done. You have to give him ID and address proof. No. of employees( 20 or more with their father and mother's name,address proof, nature of work where they are working and salary), 2 work orders, then you have to provide regn. of shop and estb., labour act, Pan Card of the company etc. The money envolved may vary from 15000 - 20000.
Yes you will also have to deposit the sum @6.5% (employees and company's share) approx. of the gross salary of six months. This is the latest update. Happy business.

For ESI & EPF There should be more than 20 employees working with you . There is no surcharges to apply for same as cover under by yourself .If you hire any person to provide the same code they will charge as they want.
