Hellow all !

Can an employer discharge the services of any executive just after 2/3 months of joing on the reason that the production schedules are deferred.

Mere one month notice either side clause can be made applicable in case of the senior management cadre, who leave the highly paid jobs and join for challenging career.

Not actually it depends on the appointment letter, if you are on probation it is possible that anybody can be removed from services.

Generally any reason forwarded to you is just a reason,attimes a real reason also.

You should check the appointment letter for the clause of notice.

Sometimes the company makes adjustment like if clause in the appointment letter is 3 months but they don't want the employee they will pay 2 months salary & 1 month notice in which he can do the hand over , look for other job & get the experience letter.

Dear Ms Rekha !

I think I hv not presented my query properly. My query is is it proper for the employer to invoke the one month notice wages clause in respect of senior officers for the mis planning made by them for the production schedule.

I threw this for discussion on the ethical and morale point of view as it would be difficult for the senior officers to get immediate placement and also would be as ort of stigma in the professionl fraternity to come out frm a company with in a short span of 3 to 4 months.

Hope I made it clear.
